Badrinath – is a holy place in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the four sites in India's Char Dham pilgrimage and earns its name from the temple of Badrinath.

Badri refers to a berry that was apparently said to grow abundantly in the area, and nath means "Lord" / "Lord of" as per context in which it is referred. Badri is also the Sanskrit name for the Indian Jujube tree,[1] which has an edible berry. Some scriptural references refer to Jujube trees being abundant in Badrinath.

बद्रीनाथ – भारत के उत्तराखंड राज्य में एक पवित्र शहर और चमोली जिले में एक नगर पंचायत है। यह भारत के चार धाम तीर्थस्थानों में चार स्थलों में से एक है और बद्रीनाथ के मंदिर से इसका नाम मिलता है।

बद्री एक बेरी को संदर्भित करता है जिसे स्पष्ट रूप से क्षेत्र में बहुतायत से बढ़ने के लिए कहा गया था, और नाथ का अर्थ "भगवान" / "भगवान" के संदर्भ के अनुसार है जिसमें इसे संदर्भित किया गया है। बद्री भी भारतीय बेर पेड़ के लिए संस्कृत नाम है, [1] जिसमें एक खाद्य बेरी है। कुछ धर्मग्रंथों में बद्रीनाथ में बेर के पेड़ों का प्रचुर मात्रा में होना बताया गया है।
